Dixie National Forest

After spending the day hiking at Zion National Park, the Husband and I drove east through the park to head north to our lodging for the night.  Looking for a particularly scenic drive, we ended up cutting through Dixie National Forest.  Before we left for this mini vacation, we were warned we might see snow but after a high 80s/low 90s day at the park, we weren’t expecting to actually see any.  Boy, were we wrong! Dixie had lots and lots of snow and one of the roads we wanted to travel on was closed.  This experience added to my love of the southwest and Mother Nature Smile Enjoy the photos!
