When we first headed into Zion National Park from St George at the start of our weekend hiking trip,we drove through Springdale,Utah,an adorable town on the edge of the park. It very much had the feel of a town like Asheville,NC for those of you who have been there. Eclectic shops and restaurants lined the main street and it was a goal of mine to make it there on our trip home. Luckily,it worked out that we would be able to stop and have dinner in the area before heading to St George to check into our hotel for the night. As we drove through the town, our eyes decided on Zion Pizza and Noodle.
We parked around back and admired the view before heading into the restaurant.
Zion Pizza &Noodle is an order-at-the-counter then find a seat type place. We perused the menu while we waited in line and decided on a pizza and some beer to enjoy out on the front porch.
We found a table and placed our number in view of the super friendly wait staff.
A few moments later our beers arrived. On the right,I ordered the Wasatch Apricot Hefeweizen while the Husband ordered the Uinta Trader India Pale Ale. We each enjoyed our beers and the breeze.
For dinner,we decided to split a pizza and went with the Hot &Spicy Southwestern Burrito Pizza which had tomato sauce, grilled chicken, green chilies, jalapeño peppers, red onions, mozzarella &cheddar cheeses. Spicy and delish! It was fresh and flavorful.
We really enjoyed our dinner selection for the night and took a walk along the main street, grabbing some ice cream and candy before heading to Saint George. Our weekend vacation was rounding out nicely!
