Recently, I had a girls night out with a friend and we headed to Todd’s Unique Dining, a restaurant she’d been to before and really enjoyed. I missed it twice, even in the parking lot, so be sure to use your GPS if you get lost easily (or even if you don’t) ![]()
It was a later dinner for me so I was quite hungry and loved the bread they brought out. It was soft and warm and a bit salty on the edge. It hit the spot while I was perusing the menu.
Since it was girls’ night, wine was in order. My friend ordered the Rosa Regale sparkling wine while I went with the William Hill Central Coast Chardonnay.
My friend and I tend to have the same taste in food and the same items caught both our eyes so we decided to split everything. The staff were awesome and split our food onto separate plates without us asking. Up first was the 2 Color Beet Salad which included fennel, graprefruit, goat cheese, and a horseradish dressing.
Up next was the Goat Cheese Wonton over raspberry basil sauce (all served on one plate). Warm and gooey ![]()
For our entrees, we ordered the Seared Rare Ahi Tuna over wasabi mached potatoes and soy garlic sauce. Our other selection was a seafood risotto with mushrooms and zuccini.
Both were excellent, but the tuna and wasabi mashed potatoes were one of the best dishes I’ve had in a while. The tuna was perfectly rare (some places cook it too much or it’s cold). The mashed potatoes had an awesome kick to them and the textures of the two went well together. The soy ginger sauce brought it all together.
Overall, it was a fun girls’ night out. The food was good and I imagine I’ll bring the Husband back here to experience it for himself.

YES! The second I saw your title I was hoping you got the goat cheese wontons! I went to Todd’s for my birthday about 4 years ago and I still dream about those things! So much so that it requires every sentence in this comment have exclamation points!
The Goat Cheese Wonton looks delicious!
