Hello Blog World! Ready for the weekend? I know I am! This is just a quick post specifically for the Charlotte crew on this lovely Friday in September (Well, at least it’s lovely here in Nevada… I’m not sure how it is in your neck of the woods…)

For those of you who don’t follow Groupon’s daily deals, I wanted to make you aware of a Groupon today that I would purchase if I still lived in the Queen City… Andrew Blair’s is a restaurant which the Husband and I enjoyed with friends on a handful of occasions.  We definitely recommend them and suggest you get the Groupon – Spend $20 for $45 worth of food and drink.  This Groupon is a weekend groupon so you’re able to purchase it until Sunday night (normally Groupons are only available one day, except those posted on Fridays).  Check out the delicious meal we had on our second visit here!

The other thing I wanted to inform you Charlotteans about is that Slow Food Charlotte is having a School Garden Benefit on Tuesday, September 28th at both local Noodles & Co locations (2201 South Blvd in South End and 8016 Providence Rd).  25% of sales will be donated to the cause and will help Charlotte raise money to create and support school garden programs in Mecklenburg County.  Schools included are Shamrock Elementary, Sterling Elementary, and Friendship Trays Garden.  I encourage you to check it out, support this great cause, and eat yummy noodles!
