Last week in Las Vegas, after returning from our trip to Australia, I pretty much wanted a salad every day.  One day, when we were looking for houses, we passed a Red Robin.  The Husband and I were looking for a place to eat lunch and we both agreed it would be a good choice.  Red Robin is most famously known for their burgers, which we do indeed love, but they also have a number of pretty good salads.

Red Robin is very kid friendly (the place was packed with kids) and all the burgers come with bottomless french fries (the french fries there are my sister’s favorite!).  My favorite part of Red Robin is the bottomless Freckled Lemonade.  I usually don’t get more than one, but I love that I could if I wanted to

While we planned to look through the salad options in the menu, our waitress told us that they were having a salad special and pointed it out on the table top display.

A Southwest Grilled Chicken Salad. It looked perfect!  Lettuce, grilled chicken, avocado, tomatoes, black beans, tortilla strips, and cheese.  We each got one, with dressing on the side.  The cheese and tortilla strips were just lightly added and the chicken was very moist.  It was a great salad!

Unfortunately, we think this salad might not be available any more (it was only available until about April 4th), but we recommend checking out Red Robin if you want a salad, despite their burger reputation.
