After our awesome dinner at S’MAC, my friends and I weren’t in the mood for drinking but weren’t ready to head back to the apartment yet. Jaclyn told us that there was an awesome bakery/dessert bar not too far away so we headed that way. Momofuku Milk Bar was only a few blocks away and at 11pm had quite the line!

As we neared the front, we decided to each order something to share. There were pies, cakes, cookies, and ice cream, not to mention supposedly tasty pork buns (we decided no on the buns though that night).

We ended up ordering Candy Bar Pie, Banana Cake, and Cereal Milk ice cream.

The Candy Bar pie was made of a chocolate crust, caramel, peanut butter nougat, and pretzels. The banana cake (our favorite!) had banana cream, hazelnut crunch, and gianduja fudge. Each bite tasted slightly different and was SO good! As for the Cereal Milk ice cream, they had all sorts of wacky flavors available. I was expecting it to taste more like the milk at the bottom of your cereal bowl of fruit loops or something else particularly sweet (apparently that was a different flavor once). Instead, it was clearly Corn Flake milk. Definitely interesting and oddly pleasing
Overall, a great end to our first night in New York!
