This past weekend I headed up to New York City to have a girls weekend with my college roommates, some of my best friends, Jaclyn and Colleen. Jaclyn lives in Murray Hill, a perfect location between every thing we wanted to do! I was so excited to see these girls and couldn’t wait to get there!
After Colleen and I both arrived Friday evening and dropped off our bags, we all headed out to a late dinner at S’Mac (Sarita’s Mac N Cheese) in the East Village. You know I loved that! (Restaurant and Bar Reviews to come in later posts so check back!!)

After S’MAC, we weren’t in the mood for drinking but weren’t ready to head home yet. Instead we headed over to one of Jaclyn’s favorite bakeries – Momofuku Milk Bar. Yum!

On Saturday morning, we slept in and took our time getting ready. We kicked off our day heading down to Greenwich Village to check out Peanut Butter & Company!

As we headed north to do some quick shopping, we cut through Washington Square Park.

And then headed over toward Union Square to check out Lush and all of their wonderful fresh, handmade beauty products. I recently fell in love with their shampoo bars and loved smelling flavors I was unfamiliar with.

Then we headed to Shareen Vintage on W. 17th Street to try on vintage dresses
Unfortunately, one I loved didn’t fit
oh well!
Then we headed up to Randall’s Island Park (all the way up near 103rd Street!) to watch Jaclyn’s boyfriend’s rugby team.

Beautiful view from the bridge to the park.

It was windy so we bundled up!

Leaving the apartment to head down to dinner, we had this beautiful view while hailing a cab.

We had dinner at Degustation Wine and Tasting Bar.

After dinner we had reservations at a “secret bar” called Milk & Honey!

Then we headed over to the bar Mason Dixon to hang out with the rugby team. The bar was HUGE in New York standards and while we had to wait in line (boo!) it was a ton of fun once we got in and met up with the boys.

Sunday was the best day of all! Jaclyn won two tickets to the Food Network’s New York Food and Wine Festival from Serious Eats and we got a third one so all three of us could go. Can’t wait to show you all the good eats there!

This was one of the most fun weekends I’ve had in a long time and it was so good to catch up with my girlfriends!
I heart NY <3

aw! it looks like you guys had such a fun weekend
Thanks for visiting!!! We did A LOT of good eating, didn’t we?!
We sure did! Can’t wait to get the rest of the posts up
