As soon as I arrived in Greenville, I announced that was famished so we headed out into the town to find something to eat. A few blocks later, we came across Trio, checked out their menu, and liked what we saw.

Trio’s a cute corner cafe with lots of windows making it a great people-watching location while you eat. There was a good number of outdoor tables, but being pretty hot and humid that day, we decided to sit inside with the A/C!

We were happy to find a decently sized beer list and each ordered one to start off our mini vaca ![]()

The Husband had the RJ Rockers Light Rock (left) while I had the Oxford Raspberry (center and right). Both were very good! Mine was light and refreshing with just the right amount of raspberry ![]()

While waiting for our entrees, we received warm bread and cheese and oil.

The Husband ordered a Buffalo Chicken Sandwich with a side of Tomato Basil Soup.

As soon as I saw the outdoor menu, I knew exactly what I wanted – a Chicken, Broccoli, and Cheddar Calzone. (That’s marinara on the side. Do any of you ever use all of the sauce?? It was the size of a cup of soup!)

Overall, we found the food satisfying but not great. However, our service was wonderful! The waitress was a sweetheart, knowledgeable, and attentive. If we were to go to Greenville regularly, we’d like visit Trio again to try some of their other options.

I love a good tomato basil soup.
