After our failed attempt at checking out Sticky Rice in DC, our group decided we still wanted sushi. DC and Arlington have an amazing amount of sushi places, but we decided to check out Cafe Asia in the Rosslyn area of Arlington. The Husband and I had been once before for a going away party before we moved to Charlotte and guessed that we wouldn’t have to wait long because the place is HUGE! And we were right
The five of us were quickly seated and drinks were ordered. I ordered a Sam Adams Summer Ale (one of my favorite summer beers!)
The Husband ordered a Kirin Ichiban.
And our friend Mel had a Thai Iced Tea (which I would have had if I weren’t having alcohol! If you haven’t had one before, I highly recommend it!)
The group decided to split a number of orders of sushi. I’m not sure of what flavors they got but there was an Alaska Roll, a Spicy California Roll, and a Cafe Asia Roll in there. The group gobbled them all up!
Although I originally wanted sushi, I decided in the end to get an order of Pad Thai with Chicken and Shrimp. Cafe Asia’s Pad Thai is some of the best I’ve had and I’m glad I made the decision to get it again!
