Cafe Asia

After our failed attempt at checking out Sticky Rice in DC, our group decided we still wanted sushi.  DC and Arlington have an amazing amount of sushi places, but we decided to check out Cafe Asia in the Rosslyn area of Arlington.  The Husband and I had been once before for a going away party before we moved to Charlotte and guessed that we wouldn’t have to wait long because the place is HUGE!  And we were right :-)

The five of us were quickly seated and drinks were ordered.  I ordered a Sam Adams Summer Ale (one of my favorite summer beers!)

The Husband ordered a Kirin Ichiban.

And our friend Mel had a Thai Iced Tea (which I would have had if I weren’t having alcohol! If you haven’t had one before, I highly recommend it!)

The group decided to split a number of orders of sushi. I’m not sure of what flavors they got but there was an Alaska Roll, a Spicy California Roll, and a Cafe Asia Roll in there.  The group gobbled them all up!

Although I originally wanted sushi, I decided in the end to get an order of Pad Thai with Chicken and Shrimp.  Cafe Asia’s Pad Thai is some of the best I’ve had and I’m glad I made the decision to get it again!

  1. Oh, I’m so excited to see a review on the restaurants around the DC area, since that’s just where I live! Now I get to check it out for myself…That Pad Thai looks goood!

    • Glad you found me! Unfortunately, I don’t live in DC any more so the DC reviews will only be from time to time when I’m in the area. Hope you get a chance to get to Cafe Asia! It is definitely tasty and not expensive!

  2. Wow, you go to all my favorite spots! haha, Cafe Asia’s sushi is pretty much my fave for the price! I go to the Fitness First gym in Clarendon and frequent that Cafe Asia for dinner with my best friend!
